The unit is self-propelled production machine, mounted on truck chassis URAL-4320-1916-60I-03, all terrainvehicle, and consists of a single-drum winch andA- frame mono derrick with tackle system.At the request of the consumer, unit can be equipped with mechanisms for screwing and unscrewing of tubing and aspiration rods.Control of mechanisms in the production of trip operations occurs from the special cab, which has independent heating.
Derrick is moved into working position using manual remote control board, which is connected to a common electrical system of a unit with 20m cable. Derrick of a unit is equipped with audible and visual alarms and the limiter of hook block, which provides safety at trip operations.For convenience of work at night, the system has a lighting of : workplace on the well-head, foster catwalk, crown block, the way of the hookblock, winch and place around the unit.To ensure the sustainability of the unit in the production of trip operation at full capacity, it is equipped with a device for fixing without anchor derricks.

Advantages:
Experiment operation has identified the following advantages of unit A5-40M compared from the previous units:
— simplified transmission drive winch;
— improved reliability (infallibility, durability, maintainability, and keeping) of the unit because of using wear parts in transmission of winch;
— noise characteristics in the cabin of the unit and the wellhead below the current regulations;
— use of electropneumatic transmission for the control of gearbox with information on a display control unit allows the engineer to monitor and ensure trouble-free operation of the unit;
— a wide range of regulation speed and torque moment at the trip operation, tubing string, pumping rods, and electrical centrifugal pump. Minimal speed of hook block lifting is reduced to 0.13 m / sec (instead of 0.22 m / sec), maximum speed increased to 1.89 m / sec (instead of 1.76 m / sec);
— control of all four legs (outriggers), an independent and provides a safe and quick installation of the unit in a horizontal position;
— in hydraulic system instead of two has one axial-piston pump that provides installation, disassembling of the unit and assembly work staff with a hydraulic pipe wrench type Oil Country, HKT (hydraulic key template) and CTS (complete transformer substation);
